2020 SkyPoint Sea to Sky Q1 Stair Challenge – Everydayhero

Are you prepared to climb Australia’s tallest residential building? If the answer is 'Yes!', you will be actively supporting the mental health organisation, LIVIN, to continue their great work. LIVIN was founded on the Gold Coast in honour of a great man, Dwayne Lally, who like many others took his life after suffering in silence from a mental illness. The number of deaths by suicide in young Australians in the highest it has been in 10 years; it is the leading cause of death for Australians aged 15 to 44 years, and alarmingly, 2 out of 3 Australians with a mental health problem do not access professional support. Much of this is due to stigma, and LIVIN is here to change this. So join us to run, walk or crawl your way to the top of our tallest vantage point and know that you are helping others with every single step!

All participants in the 2020 SkyPoint Sea to Sky Q1 Stair Challenge are required to make a minimum pledge (donate/fundraise) of $35 that will go directly to LIVIN. Last year we raised a motza! Help us to smash the 2020 fundraising target of $50 000 by asking others to contribute to your climb up Australia’s tallest residential building.

Go on, get your friends together and tick this one off the bucket list – take on the Q1 Stair Challenge!

Our mission is to break the stigma surrounding mental health by promoting wellness and positive living for young people through awareness, prevention and early education. We do this through social connectedness, events, merchandise and our LIVINWell mental health education program.

The funds raised through apparel and community events such as the SkyPoint Sea to Sky Q1 Stair Challenge go straight into delivering the LIVINWell program to high school students across Australia. It is knowledge and understanding that heals and defeats stigma.

Let’s unite to help people start LIVIN again. Connecting, supporting and encouraging one another to talk about our feelings and challenges because “It Ain’t Weak to Speak”.
